Well... I am rapidly getting very disillusioned with this show.. It has really gone down hill in the last 3 episodes. Last week was still the worse EPIC fail of the entire series but aside from the first 2 none have been that great. Last nights was borderline interesting but NOT 90 minutes worth. We get it already, Negan is a charismatic, evil lunatic and Carl is an idiot. Hell we've known that since day one. While last night sort of kept my interest it was slow, boring and disappointing.

I just watched the promo to the mid season finale again and someone is going to die.. They show Negan (looks like he shaved) and he has a bloody Lucille on his shoulder AND blood splattered on his face and shirt. And Rick is looking at him with that same shattered look he had in Episode one.. So I'm betting someone [sign in to see URL] based on Rick's face it's going to be someone in the group..

[sign in to see URL] TD advertising a "surprise cast member" as a guest, the odds are pretty good. If it's someone in Alexandria that narrows things down a bit. [sign in to see URL] season is just getting way too depressing.

Re:

Have to say I was pleasantly surprised last night. Turned out to be a kick ass mid-season finale. First off, thank GOD it was Spencer who [sign in to see URL] overdue! Was sorry to see Olivia go too, that was just uncalled for and was surprised to see Eugene finally grow a set and stand up and admit to making the bullets. You know Negan won't kill [sign in to see URL] too valuable a resource to [sign in to see URL] hopefully the others will get him back. As for the others...

THANK YOU Michonne! I was beginning to think nobody would get through to Rick, but it was nice to see him finally get his head screwed back on straight by the end of the episode. And I hope he gave Carl a good talking to when he realized what the kid had done. Of course, the conversation with Michonne taking place in the cell was symbolic. Wouldn't be surprised to see Negan end up in there at some point.

Loved seeing Maggie continuing to step up at Hilltop and she's apparently got the backing of the people there after her tractor escapade, so Gregory better be prepared to step aside.

Now it just remains to get King Ezekiel on board, along with Carol and Morgan. We know from the preview of the next episode that Jesus is aware of the existence of the Kingdom so he'll be able to facilitate a meeting, just remains to be seen if King Ezekiel can be convinced. I don't think he'll be a problem but Carol and Morgan may be. Although I'm hoping between Daryl and Maggie they can set Carol straight. Hate to break it to those two but as admirable as the whole peace loving approach is, it just doesn't fly in this [sign in to see URL] not with Negan in it.

I'll be interested to see if Tara spills the beans about Oceanside, since they're the ones with all the guns. I also wonder if the mystery character in the boots may be one of the women from Oceanside. Could also be the guy from the Kingdom who tried to talk sense into Carol and Morgan. Or it could be [sign in to see URL] never did find out what happened to him, although he wouldn't have reason to be hiding.

Finally, I have to say my favorite part of the whole [sign in to see URL] and Jesus together! Looks like it was Jesus who facilitated Daryl's escape after all and it FINALLY was successful. And it would appear that Daryl is still Daryl despite it [sign in to see URL] sigh of relief! Hopefully he'll make his peace with Maggie if he hasn't already, but I really don't see her blaming him for Glenn's death. At any rate, loved the Daryl/Rick [sign in to see URL] aww [sign in to see URL] now the threads of our group are beginning to come together so there is finally a sign of hope on the horizon. Now I can't wait to see what happens in the second half of the season!

Finally! After 3 blah to bad episodes they finally got back on track. It was fun to see each of the gang out there dealing and wonderful to FINALLY see Rick wake up and get some balls back. I had a feeling people would die.. Actually cheered when Negan killed Spencer.. So happy to see him gone. I was sad to see Olivia die but wasn't surprised she was the one. I am really hoping that Carol will find out about Glen and Abraham when they visit Ezekiel and that will snap her out of this "I want to be alone" thing. We need the old Carol back. As for the reunion, it was just awesome. Loved it and loved this episode. After the last three weeks of boring and bad ones this one was really needed.

[sign in to see URL]'re baaack! Good to see Rick and co. in full on attack mode again, though I don't know why they bothered wasting their time on Gregory. The man is such a wuss. I was thinking the whole time, just talk to the people of Hillside directly, they'll listen. Fortunately Enid had the same idea.

So now they're on board but King Ezekiel is dragging is feet. I wanted to smack Morgan. Does he really think he can maintain this "peace, love and understanding" approach with Negan running wild out there? Hopefully now that Daryl has stayed behind in the Kingdom he'll be able to talk some sense into [sign in to see URL] Morgan, Ezekiel, or more likely Carol. I'm still thinking she'll be the key. If Daryl can get to her, she'll be able to get to Ezekiel.

Absolutely LOVED the whole highway sequence. The slice and dice move with the herd was epic!

And then there's Fr. Gabriel. Just what the hell is he up to? Why write the word "boat" in his notebook? Obviously Rick and Aaron assume it's related to the boat they used. But what is it all about and why would he take all of their supplies? And who is this new group they found? Whoever they are, they're well armed. And judging by the expression on his face when the episode ended, Rick seemed pretty confident they could turn into allies. Hmmmm...

Re:

Ok, I just need a fangirl moment [sign in to see URL]!!! Just needed to get that out of my system. Last night was a Daryl extravaganza and I was loving every moment of it.

First off, [sign in to see URL] has got to come around about the Saviors. So does Morgan. I don't know what Morgan is trying to prove but he is seriously deluded about the peaceful approach working. And the other guy, Roger I think, I was glad Daryl kicked his ass. He means well, at least he's got the right idea about taking down the Saviors but sacrificing Carol in the process? NOT cool. And he really picked the wrong person to bring in on that plan!

The new group, the Scavengers are, er, interesting. Don't understand their use of clipped language but I do love their little "fortress" and apparently it's helped them stay off the Saviors radar. I was shocked at the turn about with Fr. [sign in to see URL] expected to see him step up like that, wow! But I was glad that it turned out he was taken and didn't run out on the others. And the whole bit with Rick vs. Winslow was wild. I was almost sorry to see Winslow [sign in to see URL]'ve loved to seem them sick him on the Saviors!

As for [sign in to see URL] I said, DANG! Just seeing him with a cross bow in his hands again, even if it wasn't HIS crossbow, was freakin' awesome! Let the badassery commence! And now Roger knows not to mess with Carol. LOVED Daryl and Carol's reunion, I was seriously tearing up, and I both was and wasn't surprised that Daryl didn't tell her about Abraham and Glen. I wanted him to but I understood why he didn't. I was surprised at how fragile she allowed herself to look in front of him. Those two sure have a bond. And speaking of bonds, I also absolutely LOVED the bit at the end with Daryl and Shiva. It broke my heart to see Daryl sitting in front of the [sign in to see URL] could tell from his expression he was remembering being caged up by Negan and somehow Shiva knew she could trust him. When she nuzzled his hand as he was talking to Morgan I about lost it!

All that said, this one left us with a lot to wonder [sign in to see URL] Rosita going to continue to be a loose cannon and get them in more trouble? Will Jadis make good on her end of the deal with Rick? Can you really trust the Scavengers? How is King Ezekiel going to finally come around? And what's going to happen when Carol eventually finds out the truth which you know she will? Can't wait to find out!

Re: The Walking Dead Season 7 Discussion Thread

Well that was an interesting change of pace. Figured we'd have to get back to the Saviors eventually, especially since they have Eugene now, but I could've lived without it. Although it was cool getting a closer look at both Eugene and Dwight.

Have to hand it to [sign in to see URL] when you think he's going to fall apart like a cheap suit the guy goes and surprises you. He was actually pretty much kicking ass in his own way. Loved him stepping up and taking the supplies he needed. And I do think he was right for refusing to give the wives the pills and for pledging his loyalty to Negan. He may be a lot of things but the guy is not dumb. He's keeping himself alive and I don't believe for a second that he was sincere about pledging his loyalty to Negan. It'll be interesting to see how this unfolds.

As for Dwight, he's a hard one to figure out. The guy's been nothing but a jackass so far and then last night they suddenly expect us to have sympathy for him. I guess that would be easier if we hadn't watched him basically making Daryl's life miserable. And then turning on the [sign in to see URL], that was cold. And led to the most gut wrenching moment of the night. I definitely did not need to see the doc become [sign in to see URL]!

Much as I can't stand him, you can't deny that Negan isn't stupid either. He recognized immediately how valuable Eugene could be and that he couldn't take the same "tough love" approach with him that he had with Daryl. Smart and chillingly [sign in to see URL] deadly combo. But I still think he's going to get his comeuppance one way or another.

Re:

I wasn't sure what to make of last night's episode, but I did like the fact that it kind of had that S1/S2 vibe, just our group of survivors against the walkers. I was glad that we finally got to see Rick working through everything that happened and I felt a little pang of emotion when he talked about Glen saving him in the beginning. That said, I think he and Michonne were getting a little too cocky for their own good there. Still, I'm glad it all worked out, even if the guns still weren't enough for Jadis. But I love that Rick is standing up to her and she clearly appreciates that. A breath of fresh air after Negan.

As for the [sign in to see URL] feel for Tara having her dilemma about giving up Oceanside but I think she was right to go to Rick and I just hope that they'll try to reason with the ladies there and not just run roughshod over them.

Rosita, on the other hand, is going to get someone killed if she keeps up her crap and I just hope if that's the case that it's only her that dies. I was a little surprised at Sasha going along with her, thought she was more levelheaded than that. And once again we saw the new and improved Fr. Gabriel standing up for what's right. Have to say I've been impressed with the way he's come around.

The best part of the night for me, though, was the coming attraction for next week. Looks like bad ass Carol is [sign in to see URL]! And hopefully she'll talk some sense into Ezekiel.

So we've finally got kick ass Carol back and now she knows the truth about what the Savior's [sign in to see URL] God! I wanted to smack Morgan when he was still refusing to tell her so I was glad when he finally broke down and did it.

And speaking of breaking down, he really went to town last night. I hadn't realized just how much Benjamin had come to mean to him until he accidentally referred to him by his own son's name. I had a bad feeling going in that he wasn't going to make it through this episode but I didn't see Richard's death coming, especially the way it did. So does this and sharpening his stick into a spear mean Morgan has finally turned the corner as well and is now going to join in the fight?

And it looks like Ezekiel has finally turned that corner as well, realizing that they have no choice but to stand up to the Saviors. I have a feeling the last episode or two of the season are going to center around an epic [sign in to see URL]'t wait!

Re:

We're getting down to the wire now, just two more episodes to go. Can hardly believe it!

As for last [sign in to see URL] lot of interesting "small" moments like Jesus coming out to Maggie. And just when it looked like that might be a budding romance too! Plus Rosita finally giving us some insight into her past.

Didn't expect Sasha to go in alone and clearly Rosita wasn't happy about it. You know that's not going to end well but then we figured she wasn't going to make it past this season with her new series on the horizon. More intriguing was Eugene's [sign in to see URL] he really gone dark side or is he just trying to stay alive? I think it's the latter personally but I guess time will tell. And who was the figure with the crossbow watching Rosita? Was that Daryl or was it Dwight? I'm thinking probably Dwight and either things are going south for Rosita too or this might be his moment to finally break away from Negan's control. Anything's possible.

Speaking of Daryl, by far my favorite moment of the episode was the scene in the basement with Maggie. I'm so glad they let those two work through that on screen instead of just having it happen without our seeing it. And I'm so glad that it played out the way it did. Maggie was right, of [sign in to see URL] wouldn't want Daryl blaming himself.

So now Maggie's without her doctor and Gregory is scheming to keep control of Hilltop. I really wish someone would just get rid of him [sign in to see URL] so deserves it! I'm guessing the big confrontation isn't going to happen until next [sign in to see URL] enough time to do it [sign in to see URL] we shall see what the last two episodes bring.

Really good episode, with lots of interesting 'reveals' so to speak. Just when I thought maybe Maggie and Jesus might be on the start of something he reveals he is gay. It's not a game changer in any way and actually it's too soon for Maggie to be looking anyway.

I was surprised the Sasha tricked Rosita and went in alone. Yep you can pretty much write off Sasha, especially with a new series in her future. Question is, will Rosita die too.

I loved the talk between Maggie and Daryl, it was so needed. And bravo to Maggie for not blaming him for Glen's death. Hopefully that will help Daryl get his head back on straight too.

Can't believe there are only 2 episodes left for the season.. Dang... feels like it just started..

Re:

One week away from the big season finale and this one brought up lots of interesting questions, [sign in to see URL] good is Gregory anyway? The man has never even killed a walker and yet he's head of the Hilltop? I don't get that one. And we can assume when he pulled the map out that he's making a trip to the [sign in to see URL] what end? Why do I get the feeling he's going to be the fly in the ointment for this whole grand plan of Rick's?

And speaking of [sign in to see URL], they certainly didn't go easy on the ladies at Oceanside, but by the same token they did try to give them a chance, they went out of their way not to hurt anyone and they took care of the walkers who showed up, so it could've been worse. I wonder if Cyndie and some of the others will eventually break away from grandma and join in the fight.

Then we've got Sasha's situation. Is she going to kill herself or will she go Eugene's route and then try to take down Negan from the inside? And what about [sign in to see URL] he's going along to get along, which is understandable, but he doesn't know what Rick has planned. Will he finally stand up and fight once he finds out?

And we've got our answer from last [sign in to see URL] was Dwight who confronted Rosita and now he's become the first tenant of Morgan's cell. But can Rick and the others really trust him? I actually think they can. We know from what we've seen in recent weeks that he's got no real love for Negan, so I think he's genuine about wanting to join in the fight, but how can Tara and Daryl ever trust him given what he's done to them?

Lot's of stuff still up in the air and I wonder just how far they'll be able to get in next week's finale and how much will be left hanging for next season. I have a feeling one thing that will happen by the end of that episode is Negan ending up in the cell, but we'll see. Can't wait for next week!

It's a new world out there and Rick and crew needed to do what they had to do to get the guns. And he did give them a choice. I wouldn't be surprised to see them join up.

Gregory needs to die, quickly.. he needs to be zombie lunch.

Eugene I can't get my head around yet.. We know from the past he will do what he needs to do to survive. I mean he used Abraham and Rosita from the start. But I honestly think he has changed and I'm hoping he's just going to pick his [sign in to see URL] have a bad feeling he may die, perhaps trying to save Sasha..

As for Dwight.. um.. nope, don't trust him.. not by a long shot.

[sign in to see URL]! An epic ending to what had been a grueling season. As soon as they first showed Sasha I had a feeling she wasn't going to make it. I was sorry to see her go, but so glad that she got to go out the way she [sign in to see URL] though I completely forgot that she would turn after she died. But exactly the way she wanted [sign in to see URL] herself into a weapon. Just a shame that she couldn't take out Negan, which she obviously intended to do.

Still can't figure out what Eugene is up to. I was stunned to see him trying to talk them down and I can't figure out if he's still on their side or not. Can't figure out Dwight [sign in to see URL] he being on the level with Rick and co. or selling them out? Hard to tell. I was surprised to see Daryl back down from killing him, but I think he realized Dwight was right about his wife and that did the trick. But was it Dwight who left the message on the toy soldier, or was it Eugene? "Didn't know."...hmmm...

Also wasn't expecting Jaydis and the Scavengers to turn on Rick and co. Dang! And really, Rick, your reaction is to try and make a deal with her AGAIN?! Geeze! Carl was proving that he had a bigger set there by taking it to the Scavengers and the Saviors. That totally rocked!

And speaking of rocked, so did the appearance of Shiva! Awesome!! Again, it's too bad that she couldn't take down Negan but at least she got to chow down on someone. I was just hoping she wouldn't get shot in the process, thank goodness she didn't. And speaking of the folks from the [sign in to see URL] Morgan came around, took him long enough!

And finally, it was cool having Abraham back briefly and I absolutely loved Maggie's speech, drawing everything full circle back to that moment when Glen saved Rick in the tank. So [sign in to see URL] all started there, with that one gesture. I think Glen would've been glad to see where it led.

So now we're set up for next [sign in to see URL] revolution has begun. Can't wait to see where it leads!

Re: The Walking Dead Season 7 Discussion Thread

This was first season that I've watched most of. Mostly due program spot where there's nothing else on, partially because it was only season or two ago that they started showing them with minimum delay here.

I don't know about the season finale.
Sasha was good show, but it would've been better if she had taken out some bigger character, even if not Negan.

The tiger was too over the top, in the middle of all that crowd it just didn't make sense, as cool as it looked. And was at one of the too many "will they kill this character, will they, will they... no" moments.

But mostly I was bothered by the shooting, I felt the action could've been done better. It reminded me too much of Rambo III (that I saw the other day).

I didn't know Bernie Wrightson had died (didn't even know he was sick). Great master gone too soon...

Really good finale for the season, one we had all been waiting for. I was sad to see Sasha die but knew it was coming. And she picked a great way to go too! Her plan almost worked too. I'm not sure what is up with Eugene. I had been holding out hope he was just biding his time and not really joining up with Negan, now I'm not so sure. It will be interesting to see when and if the group defeats Negan and if he survives how they deal with him. I don't think he or Dwight can be trusted.

I had a feeling Jaydis was the one that turned on them, I was worried about trusting that group from the start. Best part of the whole night was the Tiger Shiva! I didn't think it was over the top at all. Shiva was big in the comics as well. I actually cheered when she jumped Roy and 'ate him.

Re:

The Walking Dead Season 8 will premiere on October 22, 2017, as revealed as a key art advertisement in the San Diego airport in preparation for Comic Con.

The Season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead will also serve as the 100th overall episode of the series. Simon Actor Steven Ogg sat down with [sign in to see URL] to talk all things Walking Dead, including the big episode 100 which he already filmed. From the sounds of it, fans should be excited.

"Yeah, it's a big, big show," Ogg said. "I mean I really didn't think about the one hundred thing so much as it's, where it says it's all out war, you definitely get that. Oh yeah. It's all out war."

This won't be Ogg's first experience in such a talked about event either, as his character's debut came during one of the most watched (and most controversial) episodes of the show. Showrunner Scott Gimple recently revealed the trajectory of the 100th episode as well as the rest of the upcoming season.

"The way we plan ahead is to live in abject terror and anxiety. It isn't about necessarily planning the 100th episode, it is sort of about planning the next 100 episodes," Gimple said. "In a lot of ways, we've planned out this show into many seasons from now. The comic book affords us that and then the inspiration we get from the comic and things we want to see more of."

"What I'm hoping for the season premiere to be next year is the kick off of the next 100 episodes. The promise of more story and another future. Every eight episodes we try to reinvent ourselves and we're gonna try and do it again."

The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes) Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol Peletier), Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene), Alanna Masterson (Tara Chambler), Josh McDermitt (Dr. Eugene Porter), Christian Serratos 9Rosita Espinosa), Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel Stokes), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Lennie James (Morgon Jones), Austin Amelio (Dwight), Tom Payne (Paul 'Jesus' Rovia), Katelyn Nacon (Enid), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), and Steven Ogg (Simon).
